TE HORO.
SCHOOL CONCERT. The school concert, held at Te Horo on Friday was a great success, socially and financially. There was a splendid attendance, while all the items submitted were first-class and evoked Umd applause. Mrs McNeill}",, besides playing accompaniments, gave a pianoforte solo in a fine manner, while Mr C. Sawyer was heard to great advantage in lii> vocal solo. Both Miss P. Pullait ami Miss C. Pullan were in good fern:. ;! u . former reciting splendidly while the latter sang pleasingly. Little Mis-: ft. Ashbridge sang and recited very nicely, while -Miss Nicholls' vocal item « ;ls warmly applauded. This young ludy has a nice voice. Miss Eva Windley was heard to advantage in her elocutionary item, while Mr X. Windier and Mis* Gawler pleased the audience with a well rendered duet. Mr Kirk, always a favorite, also sang nicely. Among the most pleasing items \* c re tln>:-.> rendered by the children, all id' whom performed splendidly, reflecting tin' greatest credit on their teachers. The dunce that followed was enjoyable. Mrs Day supplied line music while Mr J. Guy was an efficient M.C., Among those who worked well wore Messrs P. J. Taylor* F. Best, and Cutley. PRESENTATION. Miss Bradey, one of Te Uoro's most prominent Church workers, was agreeably surprised on Saturday when she | was met by several adults and children [and presented with a hands- wrist- \ let watch as a token of good work liej coniplished by her at the Sunday I School.
