OTAKI STATE SCHOOL.

COMMITTEE MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Otaki State School committee was held on Monday night. Present: Mesdames J, K, Bills and W. H. Reynolds. Rev. Petrie, Messrs Bills (chairman), Nicolson, Reynolds (secretary) and W. Burns Smith (headmaster). The latter reported that the number on the roll had increased, and that Messrs Bakewell and Blackie had made their annual inspection. It was decided to push on with the cricket pitch for the boys.
