PERSONAL.

Mr J. G. Stevens, of Oriental Bay, Wellington, was among the visitors to Otaki yesterday. A quiet wedding was solemnised at Otaki last week when Air Bartholomew Hunt was married to Mrs Bergerson. both of Palmerston N. Mr and Mrs F. Burgess (nee Miss Pauline Brown) have returned to Wellington after a pleasant holiday spent in Suva. Mr Gaze, schoolmaster at Puckakaljki, is at present an inmate of the Otaki hospital. The institution is now full and the staff are having a busy time. The funeral of Puna Doris, daughter uf Mr and Mrs A. D. Webster, took place yesterday, when the remains were interred at the Native cemetery, the Rev. Temucra Tokoaitua officiating. There were a number of friends present. while several floral tributes were placed on the coffin.
