To the Editor. •fir.—While agreeing with previous writers that a library is needed. I must support our Councillors and agree with them that the library should be supported by subscribers, and not by those who have no desire to belong to it. Why should we be forced to pay if we have no longing for books, etc.’ Then, again, the library is in an outlandish place and until removed the Council should do but little. —I am, etc.. GO EASY.
