THE FOXTGN TRAGEDY.

SKIP BAKER’S BODY RECOVERED.

The lake at Foxton where Messrs Skip and Peter Baker were drowned has been dragged since the sad happening and yesterday afternoon the body of the former was recovered. As the body was being brought to the surface there seemed a heavy weight on it which fell before the body was secured, and it is surmised that the bodies of the brothers were interlocked, and that the body of Peter fell again into deep water. Dragging has continued, and is still in progress as we go to press. It is more than probable that Mr Skip Baker will be buried at Foxton.
