The secretary stated that a meeting of the Association was called as directed, hut that po representative from Weraroa turned up. It was decided that the rep. match. Manawatu v. Horowhenua, would be played at Shannon on Easter Monday, and that a match Northern End v - Southern would be played at Levin on March jL starting at 1 p.m. The following were appointed selectors for the Southern team: E. Clarke t Tainui A), K. Davis (Tainui B), and H. Jones (Te Horo). As the Shannon team won the championship of the northern end, and Te Horo of the southern, it was decided that these two teams play the final match at Shannon on Saturday, March 18, and Messrs. F. and 1. Fletcher, of Levin, were appointed umpires for that event. Tainui A entered a protest against vne result of the match played against Te Horo on February’ 18 ’ th 9 grounds that Te Horo played a man In the second' innings who had uot played in the first, without permission, and also for not playing out the rull time by two minutes.
