* TO-MORROW NIGHT. To-morrow night at Brights' theatre J. C. Williamson's exquisite Comic Opera production "The Lilac Dorninr," will be offered for one night only. "The Lilac Domino" is a proven worldwide success, commencing its phenomena! run of three years at the Ernpi&e Theatre, London, it then rati for 12 months between Sydney and Melbourne, unprecedented in Australian Comie Opera history, and is now the musical topic of the hour throughout the length and breadth of New Zealand, having beaten "all previous New Zealand Comic Opera records. The Opera 5* one big surprise from start to finish. The plot is quite unusual and entertaining. Opening scenes are bright and breezy,
three men gamble with a box .of dice to decide who shall marry a rich girl, aii goes •.veil until the end of the second act, —hen, "Carabana" a Gipsy, under the influence of wine, betrays his friends. There then ensues one of the greatest Comic Opera finales ever v.-ritten, at times the music is of a Grand Opera order. The Opera mil be staged complete in erery detail under the management of Mr D. B. O'Connor, and will include a full balk-tt chorus and orchestra, and special scenic effects and beautiful wardrobe. The wellknown music of this Opera will include "The famous Lilac Domino Waltz," •'Still We Smile," "All Line ap in a Que," "Carnival," "What is Done You Never Can Undo," and other numerous melodies of the Opera.
