t The -total rainfall for last month was 1.43 inches. Rain fell on 16 days. The heaviest fall was .44 of an inch, on the 11th. Usually in January there are one or more semi-tropical downpours which put up the average for that month. This year there were no such heavy downpours. The average of January rainfalls for the last IS years was 2.76 inches. January of last year had a total of 2.26 inches.
