MANAKAU.
The Manakau beach is still very popular, and at present many families, including the Staples, Colvillos, Nicholsons, Stupplcs, Phillips, and Meharrys, are enjoying sea-beach life. Others contemplate doing likewise at an early date. The new hotel is much appreciated here by visitors, who are loud in their praise of the excellent accommodation meted out by Mr and Mrs Walshaw.
