COMMERCIAL.

Messrs Abraham and Wiilin/ns, Ltd., report re the sale of Messrs Maclean Bros. ’ Paraparuumu seaside sections on Saturday last: — There were buyers from Wellington, Mastcrton, Eketaliuna, Dannevirkc, Hastings, Huntervillc, Feilding, Wanganui, Palmerston, Levin and Otaki, largo number of local buyers and every one of the 90 sections was sold under the hammer at an average price of £SO per section. The keen interest created in this sale over such a wide area demonstrates the value of effective and judicious advertising, and we congratulate the auctioneers on their efforts.

This beach is likely to become one of the most popular seaside resorts in the southern portion of the North Island, and those who were disappointed at not getting a section at this sale will be pleased to learn that Messrs Maclean Bros, will shortly be cutting up another area alongside tho present settlement. Mr R. P. Abraham wielded the hammer at Saturday’s sale.
