WAIHOANGA.

PRESENTATION. On Monday afternoon Mrs. G. Blanchard, who is about to leave the district, was entertained by the ladies of the district at the Waihoanga schoolhouse, where a dainty afternoon tea was served, and a pleasant time was spent by the representative gathering of ladies. Miss Edited, oa behalf of the ladies, presented Mrs: Blanchard ] with a silver hot water jug. In doing bo Miss Edmed referred to Mrs Biac'chard’s sterling qualities, and the regret that was felt at her departure from the district. All wished her and hers every happiness and prosperity in the future. Ms Blanchard suitably replied. Mr and Mrs Blanchard are leaving for the South Island, they having disposed of their farm at Waihoanga to Mr O’Brien, of the Taumaruaai district.
