The mixed foursomes on Saturday last resulted in a win for Mr and Mrs F. S. Suncox. The card, which was a very good one, showed they played the round in 32 strokes. Their handicap was 32, which left them 84 net. The first nine holes only took them 44 strokes. The Maaawalu Club propose sending twelve men and four ladies to Otaki on Saturday. The golf tournament at Hamilton, , concluded on Saturday, is said to the most stineefafttl tournament ever held in the Dominion. The final for the professional championship wax fought oat between the Arts* raids-. ’ champions, Kirkwood and Eats, the former winning. The amateur championship was won ’ey Morpeth (Hamilton}, who defeated Dr. Boss (Dunedin) by 8 up and 6 to play.
