OTARI BULB SHOW.
ON WEDNESDAY NEXT. Bulb enthusiasts and the public generally are looking forward to next ; Wednesday's Bulb Show, which prof mises to be a very beautiful one. It is .I unfortunate the daffodils are so late this l season —due to the exceptionally cold ; winter experienced—but the display at j Paraparaumu last Wednesday shows I what inay be expected, even under ad- ! verse conditions, and we can safely promise a magnificent show of lovely j blooms. In addition to local exhibits i several of thci best growers at Lowe I Hutt have signified their intention o: j attending the show and competing here I while visitors from Marton and othei outside places are also expected. Thuthere should be a glorious display, thal | should attract a large attendance. I We would specially remind intending exhibitors that entries close on Tues day next at noon. No late entries will be accepted. The local band has kindly offered to play selections during The evening, and in all probability a picture "ill also be screened.
