MOTORING FATALITIES.
WAIRARAPA FARMER AND HIS 1 WIFE KILLED. | Masterton, August -1. A double fatality occurred on the Tinui road this afternoon. Mr Lewis Wilton and his wife, with friends, were returning to Masterton after attending a wedding, when their motor cur upset. Mr and Mrs Wilton were killed outright, but the other occupant.of the car escaped. Mr Wilton was a farmer residing at Te Kangitumau. An inquest will be held to-morrow. SKIDDING CAR KILLS A MAN. Gisborne, August -J. John Johansen, station cook, was killed through a motor car skidding on a slippery road near'Hangarou. He jumped, and the car. which rolled over three times down a bank, went over him.
