1- —^ A meeting iu connection jyit& t&S Y.M.C.A. and YAV.CvA; was held at Mtmalw'ff* on Friday night, ami was a most enjoyable function. It took the form of a discussion on subjects introduced as follows: —''Cost of Living,” by Mr Drake; "Tfye Toothbrush in the Schools,” by Miss Hammond; “The Sugar Question,” by Messrs Kofoed and Howie; “Profiteering,” by Mr Robinson; “Immigration,” by Miss Evans; and “Woollen Goods,” by Miss Pearl Keats. Most of these subjects drew a hot fire of criticism, end a very profitable hour was spent. i
