The "Bulletin" tells the following Story: Three horses were left in the Jumbuck Welter, and a "bookie" from the metropolis yelled "20 to S Neverbudge." A rural punter standing near said" he would accept the odds. The ''wpolbroker" offered to double or even treble the wager, and the backbloeker met the offer eßch time. Neverbudge duly won. A city punter who had watched the proceedings asked tne rural bettor if he knew the risk he was ...H— "wkv," he said, "that bookie owr- Neverbudge." But a quick reply ..,••,.
