On Wednesday the Manakan team visited Levin and played Y.M.C.A.,
whom they defeated by >w runs to f>2, thus winning the Wednesday competition. Whetu, Cameron and Nees wero the chief batsmen, while Atkins and Kobinson trundled well.
The final of the cricket, championship was played on Saturday, when Shannon secured tho honours, defeating Levin in a one-innings game by so inns to 57. Hemmingson and Kandall (Shannon) and Frfngle and O'Connor (Levin) Proved the most able players.
