GRIFFITH—HITCHING. ' A wedding of interest was solemnised at St. .John’s Church, Wellington, yesterday, when Mr Lyndon Gxtiasii. fifth son of the late Mr .Jose* Griffith, for many years a highly-respected ml
dent of Otaki. was married to Miss Ruby Irene Hitching, third darighter of Mrs Hitching, of Fairley Terrace, Kelbarn. The bride, who was elegantly attired, was given away by Mr Horace Griffith, and attended by Misses Laura and Pearlie Hitching (sisters) as bridesmaids. Mr “Joe” Griffith vat best man, while the Rev. Thompson was the officiating minister. After the ceremony, which was witnessed by a number of relative.- and friend:, a wedding tifcakraat «■. given at Dorris ' Ltd... after which the happy oottpk hit for Waiksnae. en route to Bttoroa and Aneklaad. where- the honeynKfOr. is to be spent. Hr and Mr.Griffith will afterward! retirn to take up raideae* at Levis.
