On the local bowling green on Saturday Smith and IVili-hell defeated Acre ■and Noble, 23—Id. The losers opened with three, while on the next head their opponents scored six. After this play settled down, and singles were generally the order of the play. On the 19til head Smith ami Witchell had an advantage of one only. It Id, but on the next two heads added six, and thus won by a substantial margin.
