The weather conditions were fearful, and great difficulty was experienced by marksmen in keeping on the target. the conditions a. laid down by the executive are: Team, of eight men. -even *hots and optional sighter at ranges "00 500, and 000 yards. On Saturday. however, the.-e had to be modified somewhat, as the wind broke off one of the posts supporting the target and tore the paper completely off the other, and so the teams agreed to complete tho competition at, a figure target at 000 yard*. At times rain squalls were *o bad as to preclude the marksmen from seeing the target at all. Under these circumstances Wharcroa put up a good shoot, and are to be congratulated.
