DISAPPEARANCE OF MR. M. DONOVAN.
WRECKAGE FOUND AT TITAHI BAY. The police authorities at Wellington received advice yesterday morning that there had been washed ashore at Titahi Bay a quantity of wreckage two boards, pink on one side and tarred on fhe other, each Oft in length, and a piece of the stern-post of a boat, apparently a launch. The suggestion is that the wreckage is part of the launch in which Mr M. Donovan, a farmer of Paraparaumu. left that place on December 4, 193 9. and of whom nothing bss since been heard. Tho local police can supply ns with re farther information on the matter. Much sympathy is felt with Mr Donovan’s relatives in the very anxious time through which they are passing.
