FARMERS REJOICE

On Monday and yesterday steady rain fell, with but little intermission, throughout the district. There has been an almost total absence of wind during the past few (lays, and the warm rain will do untold good. A few who have crops down are grumbling, but dairyfarmers and others arc rejoicing at tho rain, which will bring feed on apace, and assure the milk supply keeping up well for some weeks to come.
