Tomorrow “Beautiful Mrs Reynolds” will be the star item, and those desirous of seeing an up-to-date film should attend.
On Saturday “Happy Though Married” will be the leading film, and as this features Edith Bennett and Charlie Chaplin. there should bo a crowded house. “Charlie” will also appear in “A Dog’s Life.” You may think you have seen him at his best, but judging by press comments this picture eclipses ail its predecessors. This latest is said to be the funniest on record, and all desiring a hearty laugh should attend.
On Tuesday next “The (scarlet Runner,” a fine production, will be shown. This is a serial. A notice says:—“The Vitagraph Company has entered the ranks of serial-makers, and are to be congratulated on the production of “The Scarlet Runner,” with Earle Williams as the central figure. The etorv is from the celebrated novel by those cver-popular writers, C. N. and A. M. 'Williamson, and tells of a man who had to make so much money within a year or pay Hie severe penalty ol failure. He sets out with his car, “ The Scarlet Runner,” and meets with wonderful adventures. He not only succeeds, but wins a wife into tlie bargain. Each episode forms a complete story, while the wh»le serial has a continued interest which keeps expectation at a high pitch. The production is a fiae achievement. ’ ’
