Mr J. C. Innes, of Hastings, has purchased Mr Lancaster's property at Levin, also Mr Duff’s residence. Mr G. M. Henderson, schoolmaster at Ohau, has been appointed as inspector of Native schools under the Education Department. Mrs H. R. Elder, who lived for many years at Waikanae, and is now residing at Havelock North, returned to Waikanae last week, on a visit to Mrs Tatton-Fraser. A pleasant afternoon tea was given at the Sunday schoolVoom, when many friends had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Elder again.
