THE FLOWER SHOW.
All intending exhibitors at the Otaki Flower Show, to be held orf Wednesday next, ■ yre reminded that entries positively close at'noon on Tuesday next, ISth inst. No late entries will be received. The /uic weather of the past few days has helped the gardens along, and provided the next few days are windless, there should- be a line show of roses and other cut blooms. AVc understand that a goodly display of selioohvork will - be exhibited—work that should be encouraged by all classes —while exceptional interest is centre a in tho decorative section, on account of the stimulus given dn this direction by the recent demonstrations in floral work by Mrs Russell, of Wellington. Air .T; J. Whitehead, of Palmerston North, will act as judge of the domestic class. Mr AVhitchead has acted in a similar capacity on previous occasions, and given every satisfaction.
