The l.evin-Oiaki football match (juniors), played at Otaki on Saturday, ended in an easy win for the former. 19—0. Mr \V. Broughton was j referee. I Shannon beat Ilui Mai at Mauakau, i M —:>. It was a good game, hard and fast, but the best team won. Mr Hon Ivarauti was referee. I'orirua played Hui Mai seniors, assisted by_several Levin players, at Mauakau on Saturday, jrhen t.he latter won. 22 —1!>. after a fine game. The visitors' combination was a good orw\ and put tip a serviceable game, while l the local boys also did excellently. II was one of the best matches seen here for a long time past, the play being fast and open. A large number of (spectators greatly enjoyed the contest.
