TE HORO NOTES.

I (From Our Own Correspondent). The Horowhenua County Council has a gang of men at work on the main road at Te Horo, where a stretch of road is being tar-sealed. When completed this piece of road should be in splendid order- and it is hoped that tho work will be extended. The footpaths in the town are also being tarred. Mrs Muir. who has been away for some little time, is expected home again 011 Wednesday next. f am glad to be able to report that Mrs Diaper, who met with a very serious accident some considerable time back, is now making steady progress towards recovery, and can get about a little. Mr Latham, late manager of the Co-op. Supply Stores, has reliquishcd his position, and left Te Horo. Mr Eli Allen, who recently sold Ids farm at Tc Horo, leaves at the end of the month for Hawke's Bay, where he has secured a farm.
