OTAKI LICENSING BENCH.
The adjourned annual meeting of tho Otaki Licensing Bench was held today. Present: Messrs J. Logan Stout,; SU (chairman), Messrs W. Tonipsitt, Ben Ling, and J.M. O’Connor. Edward Pearcy (Telegraph) applied for a publican’s license, the previous application being adjourned till improvements were effected. Mr Pearcy said tho improvements as ordered had been carried out.— Granted. John H. Duddcridge (Family) applied for a publican’s license, previous application being adjourned till improvements were effected. Mr Duddcridge said matters had been attended to.— Granted. Frederick W. Gardes (FSnuly Hotel, Foxton) applied for the renewal of a publican’s license. The previous application was adjourned on the same grounds as tlie preceding ones. It was reported that matters liai been attended to. Granted. Len Freeman (Whyte's Hotel. Foxton) applied for a renewal of a publican’s license, application being previouslv adjourned to ascertain the position of the building contract.—Granted, cvervthing being in order. Matthew J. Suhan (Levin Hotel) applied for a conditional license tor the inside and outside booths at the Horowhenua races.—Granted. j
