Y.W.C.A. SOCIAL. I The Manakau branch of the Y.W.C.A. i held a most successful social in the Manakau Public Skill last night, when j there was a splendid attendance. Mr jS. J. Afterwards the ladies provided sapper, and thus brought to a conclusion a very pleasant evening. Tho secretary (Miss Keats) and com- , mlttee deserve credit for the way they 1 worked to make arrangements for the gathering. The proceeds of the function will be devoted to the setting up of a library, which has been decided upon by the Y.W.CA_ branch. *
