WAIHOANGA NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent). The good folks of Waihoanga atiended in great force at the last fortnightly euchre party, and again a most convivial time was spent, while inconsequence of the splendid muster very little debt now remains to be paid on the piano. The euchre tournament provided no end of fun, and Mr H. L. Beauchamp established a record by winning ten games—the possible, and in consequence won the gents' prize, while Mr Butt gained distinction by winning the. "booby" prize. Mrs Stevens played splendidly, and gained the ladies' prize, while Mrs Butt was awarded the consolation trophy. The dance, that followed was very enjoyable, young and old "tripping it gaily" to spirited music supplied by Mr Beauchamp.
