CONCERT. A -most enjoyable concert, contributed by a number of talented Wellington vistors, was given at the Packakariki Methodist Church on Saturday evening last, when there was a good attendance, all present, spending a most enjoyable time and expressing keen appreciation of the excellent programme submitted. Following is the programme: —Part song, “Land of Long Ago,” concert company; song, ‘-‘I Give You Love,” Mr Bailey; recitation, “Deserter,” Miss Doris Bailey; vocal duet, “Sincerity,” Miss Harper and Mr. Musker; sketch, “Mrs McSweenev,” Miss Josio Bailey; song, “An Emblem,” Miss Harper; song, “The Refuge of the Soul,” Mr Musher; vocal duet, “Friendship,” Miss and Mr Bailey; part song, “Where My Caravan " Hath Rested,” company; song, Miss Bailey; vocal duet, “I’ll Sing to Thee,” Misses Harper 'and Pear; recitation, “Sans Gabricllc, Miss Josic Bailey; soug, “Allah,” Miss Harper; song, “Dear Little Mother o’ Mine,” Mr Bailey; recitation, “The Iron Cross,” Miss Doris Bailey; part song, “All Through the Night,” company. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the visitors for providing such a delightful evening’s entertainment, and the concert concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. As a result of the entertainment the Methodist Church Trust Fund will benefit considerably
