Laugcsen, whose representation of a Swiss peasant was excellent. Mr O. W. Norgrove, attired as a prospector, was awarded first prize among the men. Dancing was kept up briskly, to capital music supplied by Mr H. L. Beauchamp, while Mr F. Stan dish acted as M.C. During' the evening Miss Judd contributed a recitation, while Mr ICershaw and son gave a gymnastic exhibition.
