OTAKI TOWN BOARD.
SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of the Otaki Town Board was held on Saturday morning, to consider applications for the positions of assistant roadman and poundkeeper respectively. Present: Commissioners H. H, Ollivcr (in the chair), P. Kikihang, W. fi. Reynolds, and H. Nicolson. For tho position of roadman the applicants were: H. Knox (accepted), G. F. Murray, W. Giddcns, jun., and Dick Tuna. The only applicant for position of poundkeeper was W. Chandler (Is per week), and he was duly appointed.
