SUSPENSION OF RANGER.

(to the editor.) Sib,—Your Oaonui correspondent Laving stated in your issue of the 10th instant that several ratepayers wished him to request an answer from me regarding the suspension of the ranger . on certain roads, I take the liberty of doubting your correspondent's assertion. But should any ratepayers wish an explanation of the matter, I will be most happy to grant their request to the best cf my ability. I however, absolutely decline to reply to the twaddle of your correspondent (who has been good enough to publish his identity), knowing, as I do, the reasons for which the agitation has been kept up.—l am, &c, Alexander Morrison. Rahotn, August 16th, 1894.
