OPOTIKI PROPERTIES SUBSTANTIAL REDUCTION Of the' 23 applications heard last week by the Gisborne Land Sales Committee, five were withdrawn on the vendors’ request in view of substantial margins shown between the agreed prices and the special Crown valuation figures. In three other cases the committee fixed values which were accepted by the vendors, one price being reduced from £750 to £590, for a house in Church and Victoria Streets, Opotiki. Other business included a house in Ford Street, with 35per., the approved price being £4OO.
