J,td. report having held their ion nightly pig sale on Monday, when a very large yarding came forward. ha Conors again predominating. There was a large and representative attendance of buyers, some coming from as far as Frank ton Junction, with the usual bacon buyers being present. Haveners met with keen competition at slightly increase d rates. Buttermilk pigs met- with keen competition at outvalued rates, whilst all stores and weaners sold under keen competition at fully late rates. .Realisations : .'Prime heavyweight baeonc.rs, £3 10a to £3 10s: prime mediumweight lineoners, .-£3 to A 3 8s; prime light-weight baconers, £2 15s to £3 19s; buttermilk pigs. £2 10s to £2 16s; porkers, £2 7s 6d to £3 12s Oil; stores, 12 to £2 8s; slips, £l. 10s to £ 1 ,I.os <3d ; wca tier.s, £1 2s Gd to £1 12s (id; medium and inferior sorts, 15s to J.Bs; choppers, £1 15s to £2 4s; breeding sows. £1 15s to £4 2s 6d. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency CO, Ltd. report as follows : We had a very, heavy yarding of bacon, buttermilk and good porker pigs, and buyers were present from Hamilton, Matamatn, Tauranga and all parts of the Bay. For, good prime bacon pigs emu petit!air- was keen at prices well up to export, schedule, while weaners and .slips continue to sell extremely well. Prices realised were:— Heavy prime haveners, £3 9s to £"3 13s; lighter baconers, £3 5s to £3 Ss ; large buttermilk pigs, £3 to £3 7s; smaller sorts, £3 14s to £3 19s; heavy porkers, £2 (is to £2, 10s; light porkers, £2 to £2 os; heavy store pigs. £2 Is to £2 11s; lighter. 33s t 0.385;.385; slips, 25s to 31s; good weaners, £l. to £1 5s 6d ; smaller sorts. 17s fid to 19s; choppers, 22s fid to £2 fis.
