FORTNIGHTLY MEETING
'The fortnightly meeting of the Opotiki Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held at the Reserve on Monday night, there being only a small attendance on account of unfavourable weather conditions. No- cyclists laced the starter and these events which are so attractive from the spectators’ point of view were “washed” out. The chib also misses greatly the appearance of Waimana. competitors andi it is hoped that they will put in an appearance at next meeting. The following were the results: — B.
