Gisborne Veterinary Freak. An unusual veterinary occurrence took place recently on Mr. J. It. Hamilton’s farm, Patutahi. A short- time ago a cow on his. farm expelled the dead foetus of a calf that appeared to have been about two months old before development was stopped. f i be foetus was only about 3m. long, two months later, ‘the cow delivered a normal healthy heifer calf at the lull time. Mi*. It' E. Alexander, Government veterinarian tit Gisborne, stated that he had never heard/ of an occurrence of this nature before.
