ST. STEPHEN’S CHILDREN’S BALL
LARGE ATTENDANCE The St. Stephen’s children’s plain and fancy dress ball, held- in the Lyric Hall oh Friday night, attracted a very large attendance of adults and children. The' music was supplied by M<?Dougali’s Hot; Scots, with extras by Air. AY. Laird and Air. E. Hcnnossy and Miss K.. Jephpon. Air. A. S. de Aioiltalk carried out the duties of AI.O. for the children and Mr. O. Shove wag AI.O. for the adults. The children’s monte carlo was won by Al aster Gordkm Gough and Master Bartley Bridgciy Other monte carlos were won by Aliss P. Rennett and Mr. Walker and Aliss Al. Clayton and Mir. R. Patterson. During an interval in the early part of the evening, the prizes won by the children were awardecl!. Prize-winners were:— 1 to 3 Years: Aliss Jennifer Smith • Early A’iotorian Lady); Aliss Flora Russell (Night). 3 to G Years: Aliss Alargaret Marjoribank.s (Butterfly), Alas ter Ronnie A nderson (Spaniard). 7 to 10 Years: Aliss Betty Butt (Robin Hood); Master Gordon Gough (Santa Claus). 10 to 15 Years : Aliss Olga Shalloon (Eastern Girl), Master Clayton (Cowbo,- ).
