Prayer presided at the organ. The bride’ whoi entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a. frock of white satin,' fashioned with a heart-shaped neck-line and leg-o’-nuitton sleeves, caught with a spray of orange-blossom. The skirt fell into a scalloped train. A coronet of hyacinths and a beautiful veil embroidered with true-lovcr’s knots completed her bridal attire. She carried a bouquet ot arum lilies and white roses. She was attended by her sister, Aliss Kathleen Caves, as bridesmaid, who were a frock ot kingfisher-blue georgette over taffetas.-It was designed with a heart-shaped neck-tine and a gathered waist-line with a very full skirt. On her hair she won't* a j idiot cap of matching net, trimmed with pink stock. A silver-chain and pendant was worn, anti she carried a bouquet _ol pink stocks, camellias, carnations and maiden-bail' fern. /The- little flower-girl, Alona Ranks, niece of the bridegroom, were a frock similar to that of the bridesmaid. She wore a top-knot ot pink camillia.s, tied with silver ribbon and she carried a basket of pink flowers. In attendance as best man was Air. Buddy Le Prou, of Whakatane. Tim bride’s mother wore a frock ol heavy navy silk, trimmed with red, green and gold heading, with hat shoes and gloves to match. She carried a posy of snap-dragons to tone.

The bridegroom’s mother wore a frock cf clover with a navy blue hat and shoes, and carried a posy of jonquils.

A reception was held in the Wattle tea rooms and later a number of tin vounger Iriends were:-entertained at a social. The duties of master of ceremonies were carried out bv Air. D. Thymic, of Tauranga. Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss Sonia Cooper and Air. R. White. The music was provided by Air. Alan Shaw and Air. W . Young and an extra was played by Aliss Jean Grover.
