PAN-PACIFIC WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION
GROUP FORMED IN OPOTIKI Much interest lias been created in the Pan Pacific Women’s Association by the Opotiki Locality Committee— Airs. A. P. Stuart- (convenor). Airs. A. O. Hampton, Airs. J. D. Fisher and Airs. A. E. -Martin. An enthusiastic AV.E.A. group has been formed and the course taken foist iidy “Economic Interdependence of the -Pacific”, i? proving cxtreniely iuteresting. The P.P.W.A. conference to he held in Wellington from the 11th. to the 26th. of January, 12-10, will he part of the Centennial Celebrations. Season tickets are new available and can be had on application to New Zealand officials up to September, 1939. - The convenor, Airs, Stuart, has received a circular letter dealing with the Conference to lie held in Wellington. At the conference two periods have been set aside for viewing exhibits, when- the representatives them different countries will attend to explain exhibits. Slides depicting Alaori craftsmanship are in course of preparation.
