GREEN MEADOWS SALE HIGH PRICES RECEIVED Messrs. Wright Stephenson and Co. Ltd. conducted the Green Meadows dispersal sale on behalf Mr. T. W. Wardlaw, Waimana, last Wednesday. A very, large number of buyers was present from the Waikato, Taranaki. Manawatu, Ncrth Auckland and all parts of the Bay of Plenty, and exceptionally keen competition resultedi, the lots sold averaging 82 guineas and 20 cattle selling in excess of oOgns. Top price "for a cow was lCOgns.- paid by Dr. G. Walker. Whangarei, for Wellfield Lady Gay, V.H.G. C.O.R. 6471b5. fat, a noted champion. Seven bulls brought over oOgns. each, top price being <sßgns. The return from the sale was in excess of 20C‘0gns., and over 70 head were sold. Some of the Opotiki purchases were:— Cows Green Meadows Suzanne, 21gns. Mr. W. J. Paul, Opotiki.
