OBITUARY

MRS. BUGLER NLAYTON The death ha.s occurred of Airs. Buller Newton, who was a resident oi Wellington for 10 years until lately, when ill-health necessitated her return to Poverty Boy. Airs. Newton before her marriage was a prominent hockeyplayer and during her residence in Wellington she was well known on the tennis -courts. Airs. Newton was the niece of Airs. i\ Porter, Opotiki. She leaves a -husband and .an 11-year-old son.
