Prices realised were:— Extra heavy batoners, to £-3 11s ; heavy baeouers, £3 3s to £3 Os; light baeoners. £2 los to £3; heavy porkers. £2 to £2 7s Od; light porkers, 36s to 395; large, stores, 3Us to 355: porkers. 22s Od t(j 28s ; good slips. 14s 3d to IBs; choppers, 30s to 30s. ‘..Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report as follows on the fortnightly pig sale held on 3londay in the Opotiki salevards: — An average yarding came forward, chiefly porkers, very few baeoners being penned, and values declined considerably cm recent rates. Heavy-weight- baeoners made to £'3 Os; lighter. £2 19s to £3 3s; unfinished, £2 13s to £2 18s. Pork was not- verv keenly sought alter, the best heavyweight pork making £2 4s; medium pork. £1 15s to £2 2s; lighter. £1 7s to £1 11 s ; whilst other porkers made from 23s Od to 255. Store pigs—there was practically no demand tor this class of pig, many pens being sold at from 15s to 18s. W.c-aners made from' 3s Od to- 9s.
