RAYON PRICES TO INCREASE LONDON, Feb. 20.—Courtaulds, Limited, ending a 17-year-old price war with tlieir chief .rivals, British Celanese, last night announced a pact to raise rayon prices. The price war has cost the companies millions. Courtaulds’ profits last year slumped to £3d2,000, compared with the previous year’s £2,374,0.00. Capital oil .the - two companies is nearly £41,000,000'.
