WOODLANDS MEETING

The Woodlands Women’s Institute held their monthly ■ meeting on the 18th. April. Mrs. McGregor occupying the chair in the absence of the president. Airs. Barbour and Airs. Price wore appointed] delegates to the Federation annual meeting. Airs. Hollard. Airs. Barbour and Airs. Dodgson were appointed as the Woodlands representatives to the Centennial Celebrations Committee. The roll call, “Travelling Hints”, was well answered. A competition arranged hv Mrs. Dodgson was von by Airs. Hollard. AHs. Price gained first prize for a jar of jelly. Airs. AlcCaldon and Mrs. Hollard tied for first place for! a fruit tin of flowers arranged for effect. Hostesses for the afternoon wore M'e.sdames Pilkington and Sargent.
