Uawa County Rats Collection.
A satisfactory position is revealed in the analysis of rates struck and collected in the Uawa County Council, the amounts in two Of the European ridings. Arakihi and H.auiti, out of a total of six being fully paid. In the other ridings small amounts were outstanding. The total amount struck among the natives in the Hauiti riding was also collected, this amounted to ,£550. !u the five native ridings the total amount struck was £2391 and, the amount collected £1727, the percentage collected being 72.2.
