MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of members of the W.D.F.lVwas held in tile Parish Hall on Thursday when -Mrs. Martin presided over a lair attendance of members. Mrs. Howe and Mrs. Shalloon were appointed as delegates to attend the meeting. The Palmerston North branch wrote asking for assistance to the funds in the cost- of the upkeep of their Host Rooms for the first year. Lt was announced that the annual picnic of the Division would ho hold at Mrs. M. O’Reilly’s, Kutarere, on Tuesday. 7th. inst. The flower competition resulted in Airs. Webb gaining first prize, Mrs. 'J Fox second 1 and Airs. Burgess third. V* The next meeting of the gardening circle will he held at Alls. Webb s ' residence. Afternoon tea was served and a vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting.
