THREE OPOTIKI RESJ DENTS The death' has occurred cl a wellknown .Maori, .Mr William Wright, who passed away at Opape yesterday. The death took place on Saturday night at the Opotiki hospital, wlifefe he was -a patient for several monthsf| of Mr J. I). Talbot. The late -Mr Tapi' hot was a prominent member of t}u{cj Opotiki 1.0.0. E. and was for :.;oini§| years foreman of works for the Opo-d tiki Borough Council- Predeceased bv| his wile, the" late Mr Talbot leaves uni; adult family to mourn their loss. The funeral took place this afford noon. Rev. C. G. Salt conducted the service at the graveside. The funeral of the late Mrs William Black" whose death occurred last week, took place at Waiawa yesterday, when a large number of native and pakelia friends paid their last respects.
