MEETING OF GARDENING CIRCLE The monthly meeting of the Gardening Circle of the W.D.F.t . was held recently at the home of Airs A. Hodgson. Airs Fox presided over a good attendance. After the "minutes of the previous meeting had been read and confirmed, a general discussion on various flowers took place. A competition lor the best flower was wen by Airs A 1 (Gregor with Airs Dodgsou second and All's Alaxwell third. A very interesting guessing competition of flower names resulted in Airs S. Maxwell receiving the first prize. Alembei's enjoyed a stroll around the garden; tho lovely, blooms, especially the hyacinths. being greatly admired- Airs Dodgsou kindly gave cuttings and plants to members and a box of plants which had been obtained for distribution among the members, was distributed by Alls Aiartin. Among the flower plants were lupins and it was decided to hold a competition J'or the best, grown. A dainty afternoon tea was served, after which Airs Fox proposed a hearty vote of thanks to Alts Dodgsou for her hospitality.
